## Technology

- [How it works](https://www.sincereaqua.com/shrimp-counter.html#technology): AI object detection recognizes each shrimp by its eyes and body shape, with full multi-object tracking. Counts overlapping shrimp correctly, rejects up to 90% of debris (molts, leaves, organic matter), uses total dewatering plus a controlled internal water flow, and never needs calibration — counting is by identity, not size. Reports count, size distribution and total biomass in one pass. Traditional shadow-detection counters, built for salmonids in clean water, cannot do this in shrimp-pond conditions.
